A novel in 64 cards (art by Luca Dipierro, words by me), available from the art & literature collective The Walk.
It consists of 64 drawings and corresponding captions that the reader is free to arrange into a variety of narrative and visual sequences. A Wooden Leg takes cues from other works of constraint-based literature and art (Oulipian experiments, Calvino's Castle of Crossed Destinies, and more).
Luca and I talk about the project with David Naimon on KBOO's "Between the Covers."
